Well… it’s been quite some time but we hope you are as eager as we are to get started again.

This month we are doing a talk on software cracking and runtime-patching with a number of easy, yet effective, live demos that hopefully will inspire you to start poking around in your favorite apps yourself.

 

Note that our new venue is at Biblioteksgatan 29 and that the event is on a Tuesday 🙃

Organizing events this year has been challenging to say the least. If the recommendations permits we will start organizing smaller events IRL again this fall.

 

Until then, stay safe and enjoy the summer! And if it’s raining, why not watch one of our old recorded events on YouTube. I just re-recorded and published my talk on “How to browse the web like a (security) pro” that I held in December last year. Be sure to subscribe to our youtube channel.

These are crazy times and we sincerely hope you’re all well. One of our main goals with 0xFF is to bring people together which clearly isn’t the theme of the year. We still want to spread knowledge, raise awareness and inspire and since we can’t do it IRL right now we will try this new thing called the Internet :)

Our talk on Cyber crime by André on the 23rd will be our first event to be live streamed. The stream will be available on YouTube and we will have an interactive Q&A-session after the talk.

After a slow start we kick off the year with an exciting talk on Hardware security by Thierry Decroix on the 19th followed by talks on forensics and AI in the two following months.

As always we have a pre- and post mingle where you get to meet and hang out with other security professionals over complimentary beer and snacks.

• New this year is an automated registration/badge system. After successful registration for an event you’ll receive a QR code. Scan the QR code at the venue to get your badge printed on-demand. (Give a coder the boring manual task of writing names on badges enough times and he will eventually code a system to automate the process)

• People have been asking about 0xFF merch. There will be a limited number of t-shirts and hoodies available at the event.

• ACNR Challenge 2019 has come to an end. The top three players have swag to collect at an upcoming event. Congrats Steven, Likvidera and Zeta Two!
