This talk will take you along on Mattias adventure of exploiting the FreeBSD kernel. In particular it will cover CVE-2019-5602. Analyzing and exploiting while bypassing modern exploit mitigations on FreeBSD. After this talk you’ll be hacking the FreeBSD kernel in no-time ;)

Mattias Karlsson is a Senior Security Researcher for Cycura Inc. His primary focus is on Offensive-research but is known to dabble in Red-Teaming. In his spare-time he either plays CTFs with HackingForSoju or gets his soul crushed in Wargames. He is a strong believer that 'remote code execution' is the meaning of life.
